Protection

The Landscape management plan has seven different areas (maps) with zone six being the one protecting the Marbled Murrelet. The Marbled Murrelet Landscape Management Plan was subsidized by the Section 6 Grant from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service which was administered by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife

The plan covers all the lands inside the breeding range of the Marbled Murrelet in Zone six, and not just the State Parklands. (California Department of Parks and Recreation, 2019)
