Big Threats to a Little Bird

There are many threats that are partaking in the Marbled Murrelet's extinction. Since 1992, 30 percent of the population has died off, mostly from human actions (Conservation Northwest, 2019). Marbled Murrelets spend a significant amount of their time both on land, and in coastal zone waters. Because of this, we have broken down the biggest threats to these innocent birds by land, and marine threats below.
