Support the sturgeon!

Restoring the Missouri River ecosystem is super important to protecting the pallid sturgeon. Non-profit organizations have been restoring the natural environment of the Missouri River. One non-profit organization known as Missouri River Relief has been restoring and enjoying the river for years. During cleanups, Missouri River Relief brings together hundreds of volunteers, as they remove trash from the banks, floodplains, and forests of the river. They have participated in trash cleanups since 2001, and have removed over 940 tons of trash over 1287 miles. (Missouri River Relief, n.d.)
