A Rolling Recovery

Non-Profit Efforts

Non-profit organizations such as WWF, Wild Life Alliance, and TRAFFIC lobby for stronger international law and enforcement of pangolins, while Co-convene the Coalition to End Wildlife Tracking Online partnered with 50 global tech companies to identify and block listings (Pangolin | Species | WWF, 2020). Their efforts to spread awareness have increased public understanding and support for conservation efforts. These groups have done their part in convincing the public of their cause but it’s time for the world's governments to enforce the rules they created.

Recovery Plan

As of now, stopping poachers and slowing the climate crisis is all that can be done now. Numerous organizations are getting the word out to bring awareness to pangolin's plight, thus helping them move closer to safety. Most of the work being done to recover their numbers is by leaving them alone, as they do not survive in captivity. Visit the next page to see what you can do for them.
