Degradation- the condition or process of lowering the quality

Development- the process of converting land into a new purpose though construction

Eastern Medicine- natural forms of treatment (herbs, oils, acupuncture, ect.)

Ecotourism- tourism in natural environments intended to support conservation

Endangered- at risk of extinction

Forest Terrain- an area of land dominated by trees

Grassland Terrain- an area of land dominated by grasses

Lobby- an organized attempt to influence legislators

Non-Profit- an organization not conducted to make profit, profit donated or used not kept

Practitioner- a person who is skilled in a profession, especially medicine

Red List- a list created by IUCN which uses data to evaluate extinction risk of species

Sanctuaries- a place that provides protection

Smuggler- a person who transports illegal goods

Tilling- turning over or breaking up the soil, mostly for crops

Trafficked- deal or trade in something illegal

Vulnerable- susceptible to harm
