Not only does WWF have an 'adopt an orangutan' to help protect and fund orangutan rescues, but they use their expansive platform to inform people of the worldwide crisis. They educate millions and accept their donations and put them to use. They also are working with governments to protect their local endangered species... and on top of that, they are constantly reaching out to logging and palm oil companies to negotiate peacefully in order to best protect Bornean orangutans.
The Orangutan Project
Located primarily in Australia, they also try to educate people who are interested in helping this endangered species... they also raise substantial funds to support the conservation and protection of orangutans and the preservation and rehabilitation of their forest habitats.
